My life was dark and full of pain.
There was no sunshine, but only rain.
Then you came into my life...
you turned me around and made everything right.
Even though I treated you badly for many years.
You still were there, watching and waiting and counting my tears.
You never left me, even though I left you.
You kept on loving me, and in bad times...you'd get me through.
You took away all the pain, I had carried deep inside.
I let you have it all, when I had broke down and cried.
I'll praise you forever, noone can ever take that away.
You're my only Savior, who gets me through each day.
Thank you Lord, for the suffering you took for me.
For breaking the bondage and setting me free.
